Aria came to me via
Diablesse Whippets. Leila Anichini asked to use Kohl as a stud dog. So, DC Surrey Hill’s White Vienna F.Ch., V-F.Ch., MC, DPC, TRP was bred to Ch Aberdeen’s Marking Time. The result was a litter of 5, and I selected Aria as my pick puppy.
Aria did well in the show ring, including a BOB at the age of 9 months. She finished her bench championship attending relatively few shows. She was taken to that championship under the expert handling of Phoebe Booth, while I worked on Kohl’s DC title at lure trials. Soon after she finished in the ring, Aria went on to receive both Field Championships in ASFA and AKC. A good runner, she continued to compete in the Veteran’s classes. We attained the Vet Field Championship in ASFA.
Aria was a wonderful mother to two litters of puppies. The first, a gang of 12 (affectionately called the Dirty Dozen) were all been placed in loving homes. Many are competing in racing and coursing, some in obedience, and we look forward to many good things for them in the future.
The newest litter, born on Labor Day 2017, has also gone to their new homes. I hope they will participate in various whippet events. Panache looks forward to hearing all about their adventures.
I couldn’t be prouder of Aria. She was a lovely bitch with a wonderful temperament, and produced terrific puppies!!
